Boiled Eggs For Breakfast

  • Boiled Egg + buttered muffin.
Lunch @ 12:15pm
  • Two sandwiches, one with cheese and bacon filler and the other with cheese and beef.
  • A president camembert cheese portion
Dinner @ 8:30om
  • Pepperoni pizza + a beer.

  • English muffin with sliced tomato, philadelphia and slices of cold beef.
Lunch @ 12:15pm
  • One sandwich with beef and cheese.
  • Quavers
  • Babybel
  • Mini sausages
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Banana
  • Apple
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Tagliatellie + meatballs

Pasta, Salmon, Chilli

Breakfast @ 8:00am
  • English Muffin with ham and Philadelphia.
Lunch @ 12:15pm
  • Two bread rolls, one with Tesco's Tuna Crunch, the other with cold beef and a slice of edam cheese.
  • A packet of Walkers Quavers.
  • Five cherry tomatoes.
  • A single portion of Presidents Brie.
  • A Banana.
Dinner @ 6:45pm
  • Pasta with grilled salmon and a tomato based sauce. M. also stirred through a chopped chilli which added a bit of warmth.

Home Made Tuna And Sweetcorn

Breakfast @ 8:30am
  • Two slices of toast, one with ham and philadelphia and one with damson jam.
Lunch @ 1:30pm
  • Two sandwiches with home made tuna and sweetcorn filler. M. secret is a little balsamic vinegar.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread.
  • A Tunnock chocolate bar with a cup of tea later.

How Much Does A Sandwich Cost?

  • Bagel with ham and tomato
Lunch @ 11:40am
  • Cheese and ham sandwich from the Science Museum in London. £4!
Afternoon Snack @ 3pm
  • Costa coffee with a chocolate florentine and some biscuits.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Pasta with pesto and brocolli.

Golf Food

Breakfast @ 7:30am
  • Bagel with tomato and ham.
Lunch @ 2:30pm
  • Sandwich filled with the last of the mackerel pate.
Dinner @ 6:45pm
  • Gammon roast, with new potatoes and peas.
  • Sticky toffee pudding.
The big gap between breakfast and lunch was due to a round of golf, during which I ate a couple of small boxes of raisins and a couple of nutri-grain elevenses bars.

  • Chinese take away. The usual
The morning was spent at friends doing a egg hunt with the kids. Ate some hot cross buns and a couple of slices of Santiago Almond Torte that M. cooked this morning.

Risotto

Breakfast @ 8:30am
  • Crumpet with jam and a soda farl with jam.
Lunch @ 1:30pm
  • Two pitta with chicken, lattuce and mayo.
  • A small slice of the lemon tart from yesterday.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Risotto made from lots of bits from the fridge.
  • The last slice of the lemon tart :-( but looking forward to the Santiago Almond Torte that M. is planning on making tomorrow.
Dinner was good. I had spent most of the afternoon in the garden digging over a vegetable patch and a good hearty risotto was exactly what was called for.

Lunch With Friends

Breakfast @ 8am
  • Two crumpets with jam.
Lunch @ 1:30pm
  • Smoked mackeral pate with melba toast.
  • Roast Lamb, roast potatoes, roasted carrots and other vegetables.
  • A few glasses of red wine
  • Glazed baked lemon tart. A Nick Nairn recipe from his Wild Harvest book.
Dinner @ 6:30
  • Just a few more bits of melba toast with left over mackerel pate.
  • Another slice of the lemon tart.

Apple And Blackberry Crumble

Breakfast @ 8:30am
  • Bagel with ham and Philadelphia.
Lunch @ 14:00
  • Home made Quiche with a bread roll. Yum.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • A Covent Garden Savoy Cabbage soup, (Needed quite a bit of pepper to spice it up a bit.) with pitta bread and a lump of cheese.
  • M.'s best ever Apple and Blackberry crumble.

Fillet Steak

Breakfast @ 8:30am
  • Two slices of toast plus a bagel with strawberry jam.
Lunch @ 1:30pm
  • Two bread rolls with egg mayo filler and chicken ceaser filler.
  • Too many ginger biscuits.
Dinner @ 7:30pm
  • Fillet steak, chips and roasted vegetables. Yum.
  • Three plain chocolate Choco Leibniz biscuits.
Lots of exercise today because of working in the garden for most of the afternoon.

  • Ham and cheese bread roll and a coronation chicken bread roll.
  • Five cherry tomoatoes and 4 mini cocktail sausages.
  • A creme brulee dessert
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Pasta with a tomato based sauce and some breaded chicken pieces from Supreme Cuisine.

  • Chinese take away. Beef in black bean sauce, egg fried rice and prawn toast. All washed down with a bottle of Stella Artios.

  • Chicken with a Knorr 'Chicken Tonight' sauce with couscous.
  • Three ginger nut biscuits later with a cup of tea.

  • Brown bread tuna crunch sandwich.
  • Four cherry tomatoes
  • Mini Peperami
  • Babybel
  • Walkers Quavers
  • Small piece of quiche.
Dinner @ 8pm
  • Two pitta filled with roasted vegetables (red pepper, aubergine, onion, carrotand some sliced sausage left over from yesterday. I also had a couple of slices of cheese, I didn't really need them, but M. had the cheese out and it was too tempting.
  • A slice of chocolate cake that M. and the kids made at the weekend.

  • Finished off a chocolate easter egg and some chocolate buttons.

  • Two bread rolls. One with ham and tomato, the other with cheese and tomato.
  • A bag of Hula Hoops.
Dinner @
  • Nothing. I worked late and by the time I got home I didn't feel hungry.

  • Tomato and basil soup with a bread roll.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Pasta, pesto and broccoli.
  • Chocolate cake.

Excuses Excuses...

I could make excuses about being busy at work, or feeling ill but reality is that I have just got out of the habit of logging what I have been eating. During the downtime I have actually been quite good. There has been the odd night on beer and curry but no relapse into eating chocolate every afternoon.
