Damson Jam For Breakfast

Breakfast @ 7:30am
  • Two slices of toast with Tiptree & Wilkin Damson Jam.
Lunch @ 12:30pm
  • Two bread rolls, one with BBQ chicken the other with some corned beef and onion filler.
  • Three cherry tomatoes.
  • A bag of quavers.
  • A piece of Brie.
  • A small piece of quiche.
  • A banana.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Pasta with a tomato sauce and some chopped ham.
  • A slice or two of the nobake cake.

Couldn't Bend Over After Lunch.

Breakfast @ 9:00am
  • A bagel with strawberry jam.
Lunch @ 1pm
  • Mousaka with french beans.
  • A chocolate and pear pudding that M. made up. It sat rather heavy on the stomach.
Dinner @ 8:30pm
  • Pizza made from a couple of the bases left over from yesterdays party.
  • A (big) piece of no bake chocolate cake.

Party Food

Breakfast @ 8:00
  • A bowl of Kellogg's Frosties. It's ages since I have had these, it was good.
Lunch @ 2pm
  • One ham and cheese bread roll.
Afternoon Snacks.
  • We had a kids party, so I snacked on various party food.
Dinner @ 8:30pm
  • Dinner at Hotel Felix. Trout and black pudding starter, Beef main course and a cheescake dessert. Accompanied with a bottle of Chateaux Neuf du Pape. Devine.

...And Today We Did Have A Take Away

Breakfast @ 7:50
  • The usual bagel, Philadelphia and ham.
Lunch @ 12:15
  • Two sandwiches. One with a Tesco cheese and bacon filler, the second with a chicken and dairylea cheese slices.
  • A couple of cherry tomatoes.
  • The Walkers Quavers are back again :-) so I had a bag of them.
Dinner @ 8pm
  • Chinese take away. Beef with black bean oyster sauce, egg fried rice and some prawn toast.
  • A few glasses of red wine.
Between lunch and dinner I went to the local pub and had some pints of Guiness in celebration St. Patricks day.

We Almost Had A Take Away

Breakfast @ 7:30
  • Bagel, ham & Philadelphia
Lunch @ 12:30
  • Sandwich with spicy cooked chicken.
  • Lump of cheese.
  • Four cherry tomatoes
  • A bag of smoky bacon crisps.
  • A banana.
Dinner @ 6:30
  • Pasta with pesto, brocolli and asparagus.
  • A soya yoghurt that one of the kids didn't eat.
  • Some dark chocolate with a cup of tea later.
We almost had a chinese take away this evening, but we resisted. Can we resist tomorrow night?

Pizza Bases

Breakfast @ 8am
  • Bagel with ham and Philadelphia
Lunch @ 12:30pm
  • Two sandwiches, one with sliced beef and a dairylea cheese slice, the other with tuna and sweetcorn filler.
  • A bag of Walkers Smoky Bacon crisps.
  • An Apple.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • A made up dinner tonight. M. was making pizza bases, from a Jamie Oliver recipe, for a party on saturday. We had some left over spagehti bolognese sauce from the kids dinner earlier, so we combined a couple of the bases with added olive oil and grated parmesan with the sauce, and a little bit of salad. A couple of glasses of rioja and it made for a nice meal.
Pudding @ 9:40pm
  • M. did a late night run to Waitrose for some general supplies, but also came back with a sticky toffee pudding that you put in the microwave. Nice, but it wasn't really needed.

A Little Progress

I weighed myself this morning. I'm down to 238lbs. Not much progress so far, but slow and steady is the way to do it.

Moussaka Again

Breakfast @ 7:45am
  • Bagel with Ham and Philadelphia. Ahh the old favourite.
Lunch @ 13:30
  • A sandwich with tuna and sweetcorn filler.
  • Four cherry tomatoes.
  • A Babybell cheese.
  • A bag of Ready Salted Walkers crisps (still no Quavers)
Dinner @ 7pm
  • Leftovers. Moussaka and French beans again.

  • Two eggs with ham and a couple of slices of buttered toast. A nice suprise.
Lunch @ 12:15pm
  • Cheesy bread roll with chicken and sweetcorn filler.
  • A couple of mini eggs, a Babybell and four cherry tomatoes
  • A bag of Walkers plain crisps.
Dinner @ 8pm
  • Moussaka with some french beans
  • Cadbury's Twirl with a cup of tea later

Not A Good Day

Breakfast @ 7:45am
  • Bagel with tomato, cheese and salami.
Lunch @
  • Ate out at Teri-Aki again. Started with Ebi Kushiyaki and a main course of Gyu Yaki Soba. All washed down with a couple of pints of Kirin.
Afternoon Snacks
  • Twix, Toffee Crisp and a Mr Kipling slice.
Dinner @
  • Reheated chicken lasagne from a couple of nights ago. Also some chicken casserole with potato and leek.

Made Up Chilli

  • Bagel with tomato, cheese and salami topping.

  • Two bread rolls, one with cold chicken the orther with a tuna and sweetcorn filler.
  • Four cherry tomatoes.
  • Bag of Quavers
  • One Banana
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • One of M's made up chilli recipes. Non of the normal staples in the cupboard so tins of Heinz Meanz Beanz make up for the missing bits. Turned out really nice.

  • Two bread rolls, one with beef and cheese the other with tuna crunch.
  • A bag of quavers
  • Three cherry tomatoes
  • A Babybell Lite cheese thing.
Dinner @ 8pm
  • Take away curry from Nasreen Dar Supermarket. Included Chicken Balti, Chicken Tikka and Chickem Saag with some rice and a small naan.
  • Another slice of the lemon and almond torte from yesterday.

  • Roast chicken, roast potatoes and vegetables.
  • More M&S yoghurt mini bites.

  • A couple of slices of toast while making the kids breakfast.

  • Half a baguette with various fillings.
  • Too many M&S blueberry and cranberry yoghurt Mini Bites.
Dinner @ 9pm (at the Plough in Coton)
  • Roast vegetables starter.
  • Rib eye steak main course.
  • Apple polenta tart.
  • Too much red wine.

  • Two slices of toast, with sliced tomato seasoned with salt and pepper. One also had a slice of Waitrose brunswick smoked ham on it.
Lunch @ 12:30pm
  • Two large sandwiches, one with chicken the other with Tesco tuna crunch.
  • Bag of quavers and three cherry tomatoes.
Liquid Lunch @ 1pm
  • 3 pints of London Pride.
Munchies @ 3:30
  • Mini Twix and a 2pack of Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices.
Dinner @ 6:30pm
  • Breaded chicken and chips with broccoli.
  • The last of the banana muffins.

Pizza has arrived for lunchtime meeting

  • English muffin with the usual ham and Philadelphia.
Lunch @ 1pm
  • Pizza lunch - pepperoni
  • One small KitKat and one small Twix.
Dinner @
  • Baked potatoes with bacon, cheese, baked beans.
  • Home made banana muffins.
I really didn't need the chocolate at lunch, but after a pizza I just had a craving for them.

  • The last piece of plum and almond tart.
