Pancake Day

Breakfast @ 7:45am
  • English muffin with Philadelphia and Ham
Lunch @ 12:15pm
  • Two cheesy bread rolls, one with a slice of beef, the other with chicken.
  • A bag of Walkers Quavers.
  • Three cherry tomatoes.
  • One individual portion of President Brie.
Snack @ 2pm
  • One apple
Dinner @ 6:45pm
  • Too many pancakes with sugar, lemon juice and maple syrup

Where are the bagels

Breakfast @ 8am
  • An english muffin with Philadelphia and ham.
Lunch @ 12:30pm
  • Two small bread rolls, one with Tesco Tuna Crunch and one with cheese and chicken.
  • One packet of Walkers Quavers
  • Four bit size tomotoes, and two mini scotch eggs.
Snack @ 2pm
  • Banana
Snack @ 6pm
  • Picked at left over pasta from earlier kids meal.
Supper @ 8pm
  • Cheese and Branston Pickle bread roll.

Goulash for lunch

Breakfast @ 8am
  • Four slices of toast with marmalade.
Lunch @ 2pm
  • A beef goulash from a Gary Rhodes recipe.
  • Some small chocolate sponge puddings from a Waitrose recipe card.
Afternoon Tea @ 5pm
  • Small pieces of plum tart and Lemon torte.

The day after

Breakfast @ 8:30am
  • Four slices of toast. Two with strawberry jam and two with marmalade.
Lunch @ 2pm
  • Two ham and Philadelphia sandwiches.
Dinner @ 8:15pm
  • Chicken and vegetable stir fry with a Ken Hom stir in sauce and noodles.
  • Home made plum tart.
  • Home made lemon torte from a Waitrose recipe card.

Pizza friday at work

Breakfast @ 8am
  • Bagel Philadelphia and ham. Even less Philadelphia today.
Lunch @ 1pm
  • Pepperoni pizza
  • Bag of Walkers Quavers
  • Tunnock & KitKat
Dinner @ 8pm
  • Rugby club dinner dance. Three course dinner, terrine starter, chicken main course and cheese cake dessert.
  • Far too much beer and wine was drunk.

Noodles for lunch

Breakfast @ 7:45am
  • Bagel Philadelphia and ham. A little less Philadelphia today.
Lunch @ 12:30pm
  • Gyu Yaki Soba and a Kirin beer at the local Teri-Aki restaurant.
Snack @ 3:30pm
  • Banana - Feeling hungry after the lunch time beer.
Dinner @ 7:30pm
  • Waitrose Minestrone soup, bread roll, a pitta and some cheese. Too much cheese and I probably didn't need the pitta bread.
I also had a hot cross bun with a drink of tea later.

Bagels

Breakfast @ 8am
  • One bagel with Philadelphia and ham. Probably a little heavy on the the Philadelphia.
  • One cup of tea.
Lunch @ 12:30pm
  • One ham and cheese sandwich.
  • One packet of quavers.
  • A little individual portion of brie cheese.
Dinner @ 8pm
  • Salmon Risotto
  • Two Marks & Spencer chocolate 'mini bites'

Ideal weight

At about 240lbs and 6'3" tall I am far from my ideal weight of between 160-200lbs. My big problem is that I eat too much and quite a lot of the wrong types of food. This latter problem is not helped by the fact that I have free access to chocolate bars and soda at work.

So as a way to get closer to my ideal I am going to record my intake of food on this blog which will hopefully provide me with some motivation to eat less.
